ETS light coming on erratically. V70-XC70

My car had the same problem. Light came on but I noticed no change in performance or control. I actually drove it 1,000 miles to Canada and back with the light on. I still had it fixed. Volvo's replacement ETS module is updated from the original on put in your vehicle.
