ETS light coming on erratically. V70-XC70

I had the same problem with my wife's 1999 V70 XC. Get your wallet out. The replacement ETS will cost you anywhere between $420-$580 (depending on how much you local dealer marks his parts up). The labor will cost you $300- $400 bucks as well. It must be done at a dealer because it requires a software upgrade. Volvo's are great cars, but the manufacturer should address this problem and won't. Good luck! Brad
