Gracie,

Check the archives. It's really simple.

Just remove the radio by popping out the handles on either side. Then remove the 2 screws securing the R side track. Behind it you'll find a micro-switch.

Work it a few times and the unit should function properly again.

BEWARE. You don't need to disconnect the radio. If you do, however, you'll need the security code to make it operational when the power is restored.
