CD Player will not pull in disk S70 1998

I have the premium 8 speaker sound system in my S70. Until yesterday, the single disk CD player was working perfectly. I ejected the disk and tried to insert a second disk only to find that the player refused to draw it in. I have heard rumor that there is a switch or sensor which can be cleaned which will fix the problem. Does anyone know how to do this? I may just install a disk changer if the single disk has given up. Thanks in advance for your help!
