Thanks for the reply. I stopped at the Volvo dealer today 5/8. The service tech informed me that this oil consumption is normal. He suggests a oil additive such as BG moa. He says that his uses a quart every 2500 miles. I don't know what I was thinking, I have a 2000 S70 not a 2002. Thanks again, Harry
