using oil C70 2002

I have a 2002 C70 with 87,000 miles. I've hade all routine maintenance accomplished. I've have the oil & filter changed every 3000 miles. My Volvo is using oil (one quart between oil changes) is there something wrong or is this common for Volvos with high mileage. It's not smoking or leaking. Help
