It's not that I 'tolerate' it, I'm just making the observation that $70 for an automotive wiring harness is below dealer retail just for the part.

The S80 is the nadir of Volvo engineering and has exposed the dark side of their inexcusable customer service - which is probably the real reason you're so PO'd. When you pay this kind of money for a car, you expect (and deserve) better.
