the best way to bleed the brakes is from the calipers. you pump fluid back through the calipers and up to the master cylinder. ipd has a tool that works off of the pressure in your spare tire, and others use a hand pump and look like a garden sprayer. you may be able to make your own from a cheap plastic garden sprayer if you can put a fitting on the spray hose to fit the caliper bleed valve. look at "groits garage" they have a web site with a couple of different models and different prices. since i am cheap i have my wife pump the pedals while i bleed the calipers.
pump up pedal untill you have a hard pedal.
open the bleed valve on the caliper to release the pressure.
WITH THE PEDAL STILL ON THE FLOOR TIGHTEN THE BLEEDER AND REPEAT. DO NOT LET THE PEDAL OFF THE FLOOR UNTILL THE BLEED VALVE IS TIGHT OR IT WILL SUCK IM MORE AIR INTO THE CALIPER.
Repeat untill all of the bubbles stop coming out and do all four wheels. remember to top off the fluid level in the master cylinder if it gets to low then you will just put more air into teh system.
