I haven't had that problem but understand that cold weather brings out PNP switch problems. One of the temporary "fixes" is with your engine off, run the shifter back and forth from park to 1st about 20 times. This wipes the contacts on the switch. If the problem clears up after this you can count on a PNP switch replacement in your near future. A switch failure usually manifests itself by putting the transmission in a third gear "limp home" mode.
