Shift moves into drive or reverse but nothing happens. Have I messed up a code? 850 1994

Thanks all. The question was obvious to you Rob, but not to the NUT on this end of the wrench. After I refilled the transmission (& changed engine oil through the correct drain plug), it all worked again, and the ABS light did go off after I got under way. Too much wine with the thanksgiving Turkey eh!
