OMG! This has to be the silliest thing I ever heard. As an engineer in the auto industry for 30 years trust me when I say you shouldn't be removing your flame traps.

Some things people come up with absolutely kill me. This is one of those posts I'll pass around the office and everyone will get a good laugh.
