BUT as I've said here before..................it's old and outdated now.

Well, I'm not a liar nor do I have a reason to lie. I wish someone had told me about the cutout shims when I had the problem. The pads in question are the type with a rubberized coating on the back. I believe they're referred to as the new type. The advice and parts were obtained from Tafel Volvo in Louisville Ky. They seem to think it works, and it sure worked on my vehicle.
