any 1 ever install a turbo timer for a v70r awd auto with security V70-XC70

I would like to install a turbo timer to save the turbo as much as I can from my past experiences with them they tend to go out (bearings) so I'v been shoping for one looking at the hks , apex , blitz etc... and a sales person mentioned something quite interesting about the security feartures on the car ...i called my local dealer and they told me just drive it and dont worry about it ....what should I do ????? foreget it and let the turbo roast paying for it later or try to install one posibly messing with the security stuff in the car.....cause i do like to drive fast (I live in a hilly area of california and man when that turbo kicks whoahw) i m getting anoyed with sitting in the car wating for it to cool down ????
