Turbo timer versus Alarm / Immobilizer on '99 C70... options? C70 1999

Howdy again folks,
I'm installing an Apexi turbo timer in my '99 C70. I'm trying to anticipate some problems I may have... I suspect that there are a few places I may have trouble. Ideally, I'd like to be able to remove the key, get out of the car, and have it lock and arm itself after the idle time expires.

1) I understand that the key has some sort of transponder chip in it? Does this mean that as soon as I remove the key that the ignition will cut off?

2) I have not been able to figure out how to get the alarm to arm passively (i.e. if all the doors are shut and the car is off and X amount of time elapses, the car arms). Is that an option with the stock alarm system? If so, I guess I'd just set it to do that and lock the doors manually with the key when I get out, then the idle time would expire and the passive arm time would expire once the alarm thought the engine was off and the car would arm itself.

3) Speaking of options with the factory alarm, mine doesn't even beep or blip or honk or anything during arm/dearm... just flashing lights. Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance for your help.
