SRS Air Bag Indicator V70-XC70

I have a '01 V70 with 32K miles and have gone thru 3 control modules for the airbag. Does anyone know what the cause could be? The dealership is stumped and is waiting for the 'factory engineer' to look at it 3 weeks from now.
