Use of OBD-II software V70-XC70 1998

Do you like the Peper software and does it work well for your car? Is it easy enough to determine just what code means to look at what component? Does the software tell you anything much in detail? I downloaded a free trial copy of Peper's software but still have some questions. Best to call him???
