I agree with symo. I use Simple Green at 50/50 mix. My concern with the orange cleaner is that it might get caught somewhere important and since it is basically citric acid, I'm not sure what damage it might cause.

As far as the hose I allow the water to trickle out the hose rather then spray out. This way I have much more control. If there is a particularly dirty spot I get in there with a stiff brush rather than using a spray.
