Timing belt/replacement engine update 850 1996

Thanks for the additional information. My only guess is that they had a rookie working on the engine at some point, and he did the bending.

I checked the serp belt today (after driving 325 miles, mostly highway) and it looks like it is beginning to wear in the same manner as the first two. With a new alternator, any ideas on what could be creating such wear?
