Rough Idle and unable to read codes 850 1994

She is idling very rough, varying RPMs, 400-1200, even stall some times, in gear of not, replaced rotor, cap, wires and plugs, still have problem, tried to read codes, followed instructions from several places unit does not blink after plugging into #6 and pressing button for 1 -2 sec. sorry but i could not find this in the archives. phil
