Replacing anntena

no. there should not be that much force exerted. if you turned on the radio and it is still hard to take out, then it must be caught on something. check volvospeed...bay13 - under radio. it'll show you how to take it out with pictures, etc.
i just pulled mine out last night and it came off almost readily. it is the putting back in that is a lot more difficult.
