I always thought it was strange that I couldn't do a rolling start in 2nd gear, without almost stalling the engine, not enough torque!!

Now with the ECU/Exhaust, it doesn't bog down!! Yeah, torque is the thing that gets you going! Not sure what BSR's torque rating would be?!
