Thanks for your reply. I have had my V40 00 for one year now. Bought it with 3,800 miles. It has been excelent. I have had no other problems except an inspection port in the air-mix box on the air/heater. It had fallen out and was replaced by dealer. I just changed the rear pads at 27K miles. Its a great car and fun to drive. I really enjoy it.
Thanks for your reply. Will watch for this loss of data again. I assume your dealer was not able to pull a code, as mine was.
