Well... 850

Very limited money! I only have a few hundred to work with at this point and my engine is still strong. A used engine is $1,000, reman head is $940, and a used head is $400. I'm stuck with the used head and doing it myself since the labor charge is $900. But when all is said and done at least I'll know that it's all done RIGHT. Also it's not an all bad thing this happened...

It's all torn apart now and I did find lifter answers in there:

Cylinder 1 - HEAVY carbon build up and one bad exhaust lifter

Cylinder 2 - HEAVY carbon build up and one bad exhaust lifter

Cylinder 3 - VERY HEAVY carbon build up and one bad exhaust lifter as well as one bad intake lifter

Cylinder 4 - Like new clean, all good lifters

Cylinder 5 - Like new clean, all good lifters

I must be one of the first people to actually have lifters that have FAILED... so it's not impossable like everyone suggests.
