I have 1997 850 turbo, and i bought the www.OBD-2.com kit.
you need a PC or Laptop (preferrably) to hook it up to. it has a cable that connects to a serial port on PC and OBDII port in car.
I like it, it cost 122 for the ISO version, i paid 144 for a dual setup (volvo any jap and chrylser are all ISO) and my wife has a ford so i got a ford/ISO one.
works real good, reads all codes, and resets both Check engine and service engine lights. read all codes current and pending in Engine ECU and TRANNY ECU, and chasis codes/sips/airbag, although it does not read the AC Diagnostic codes you need a VST volvo service tool for that.
Dan.
