Replacing 98 R OEM exhaust with a 2000 OEM exhaust. V70-XC70 1988

Anyone out there change there 98 R exhaust with the dual exhaust that comes standard on the 2000 model R's?

If so, did you notice any change in performance, mileage....etc. Seems more like a cosmetic change than anything else.

Please advise.
