Hard Start in Cold Weather S60 2002

I tried the dealer's suggestion of waiting a second (I wait a full second or two) after turning the key to the drive position before I start the car and I think I have noticed an improvement. Also, after I posted my message, I looked through the owner's manual again and noticed that on page 131, Starting the Engine, #3, it does suggest that you depress the accelerator half-way before starting the engine in a cold start above 6,000' (I'm at about 5,500'). I've noticed that this helps as well. Give it a try.
