premium vs. regular 850

I have never had knocking or pinging on my car, even at full throttle. I do know what it sounds like and have experienced it before on other cars. Sounds to me like a case of bad gas. I had that happen one time. My car pinged badly, so I pumped a little high octane into it and it cleared up, and nothing since. On the car I have now, I have never experienced that.
