Clunk while driving in reverse with steering at full lock V70-XC70 1998

Two thoughts:

1. Tie rods - passenger inner tie rod specifically, but to be safe check them all if you haven’t recently.

2. Have you ever lubricated the universal joints in the steering shaft? With age, they can get noisy and eventually seize up. The lower one is the likely culprit as it is exposed to all sorts of road grime. I used WD-40 to clean/lubricate the u-joints on my 850 and 240 but penetrating oil has been recommended too. Rotate the steering lock to lock for a few minutes while applying to maximize penetration.
