Considering 2013 S60 AWD code P0014 S60

A good shop will:

Perform a visual inspection of the connector, wiring, or valve for any problems with the OCV for the bank 1 exhaust camshaft

Check the engine oil level and condition of the oil to see if it is full and if it is the correct viscosity

Scan and documents the engine codes and views the freeze frame data to see when the code was set

Clear all codes then run the engine to see if the P0014 code returns and the failure is still present.

Monitor timing data while disconnecting the OCV to the exhaust camshaft to see if the timing changes. A change would indicate that the valve is working and the problem is in the wiring or ECM

A buyer will test drive the car for at least 100 miles at varying speeds and see if the P0014 comes back.
