AC issue (not consistent) 850

so today while driving (I drove about 50 miles today), the AC stayed on for the last 2/3rds of my trip.

I kind of wonder if turning off the AC/turning off the car (and the AC no longer working) is an indicator of something?

Because I purposely didn't turn off the AC or the car for the last part of my trip today (I dropped someone off before I finished up my driving).

1985 245. 246K Gone..but not forgotten. Sold in 2013, found 2018! Still running on the road. Of course. 1993 Volvo 850 soon to be gone
