Accessibility (reachable hose material) will rule the day.

I assume the set-up is the same as the V70. Disconnecting the hoses form the fire wall side will leave you with two couplers. You might just clip them off and employ an internal splice and two clamps or just fold over the rubber parts and clamp them somehow
