Different people have different methods, although these cars aren't too bad about harboring trapped air in the coolant system.
I like to fill the system through the expansion reservoir until the reservoir is about half full. Then, with the filler cap still off, I take both hands side-by-side and squeeze the upper radiator hose and push as much air as I can out of it - it will bubble air up through the coolant in the expansion tank. When you release your hands from the hose the coolant level in the expansion tank will drop to slightly below where it was before squeezing. Make sure you leave the expansion tank about half full and put the cap back on.
After the first good warm-up/cool-down cycle check the coolant level again.
After the third or fourth warm-up/cool-downs check the level one last time.
