P0193 and now P0088... V70-XC70 2007

There was a recall notice on certain VIN's that called for a one free replacement of the FPS - not sure if your VIN would be included or not. You might try calling Volvo customer service.

Both of our P2's ('03 2.4 NA & '05 2.5t) have had FPS failures. When I called Volvo about the '03 they said it WAS covered, but the previous owner had already collected on it. When I called about the '05 they said my VIN wasn't included in the recall - kinda odd when my VIN used the same sensor P/N as other VINs that WERE covered. Go figure...

Best prices I found at the time for OE Bosch sensors was at Voluparts.
