There is a possibility that the bushing is getting bad and I may need to replace the lower control arm.
IPD says that the way the suspension is set up leads to premature bushing failure. A design flaw?

For about 5 years I once owned a Jaguar SIII and the rack bushings were notorious for premature failure. Urethane bushing replacement was the key to a permanent fix. By the time I bought my next Jag. they had solved the bushing design issue.
Anyhow my question is this -----
I've replaced everything from engines to ball joints and many things in between. Out of a max of 5 as my abilities I would say I am a 3.75 and probably in my younger days a 4.25.
I've never been a fan of doing suspension work. How hard is it to replace the lower control arm?
Because I'll need an alignment I should probably do a new ball joint while in there.
