Good point, but here in the USA they brake the glass an ask questions later. I'm very glad to hear that your wife made it out with only a few bruises! When I first bought my Volvo, I thought man Volvo has really come out with something great. Lots of great features, but come to find out. All those great features have been in Volvo's since the early 90's. My past cars have been sports cars, trucks and sedans having the a cheap sedan as my newest car of 96 getting a new 2000 S40 back in Oct of 99 was a step up but also in price. So you can see I really didn't have anything to compare it too at the time. I did some car shopping, an found out that my S40 really didn't have anything more than the avg car now days.

I'm so happy with what I own now, an it isn't a Volvo. Sorry the Volvo for life didn't not stick with me. I can say that a Volvo did get me hooked into getting one! The Sweet 850Turbo! Fast, leather seats, the works! I thought dang, if the 95 850Turbo is this sweet man I bet the new 2000's are even sweeter. Bah was I dead wrong or might I say upside down.
