Trouble with reverse 850 1995

The 97 855 was a bust. Pity. Carfax showed the first owner (10 years) had it serviced religiously at the dealer for scheduled maintenance and oil changes.

Just talked with the seller and it's a time bomb. Bent and repaired A pillar in a crash that destroyed the driver's door. Bent left strut that was replaced but "haven't done an alignment yet." The front door was "off for a while so the leather got hard."

Asked about leaks "it leaks oil but my mechanic says all volvos leak." Besides, "Grandpa went through the motor, tore it apart, to make sure everything was ok and to show someone else how to do it."

Good heavens....

What's your opinion of the 2005 V70 Wagon? (Non AWD)
