Those of you who visit this site have always been so helpful, I'm back again for more help! My 1993 850 seems to keep having problems of some kind or another. Now that I've had the head replaced (after the timing belt broke), it occasionally would be hard to start. It would take a few minutes, though, and I'd be back on the road. At the time I try to start it, the shift indicator light on the dash starts blinking, along with the mode indicator lights on the console (automatic with tracs). Even after the car starts, these lights continue to blink for days, and then magically they stop. I would encounter the hard-to-start problem maybe once a month, but beginning last week it became every time I tried to start the car it would refuse. After 10-15 minutes it would start, but now once it's running, it won't stay running! If I keep the rpms over 2500 it will not die, but otherwise it dies continually.
I've seen information in here about the blinking lights before, but now that I need to know, I can't find it. Anyone have any ideas? After spending $3500 for a new head, and $1000 for a new ABS module, I can't wait to find out what this new problem will cost me!
