My 96 850 horn is loud. Years ago I went to the junk yard and took a horn off of a 1950s oil truck. That horn was very loud, almost like an air horn. Too bad I put it on a Chevy Vega , the horn was the best part of the car. My Corvette horn sounds like a tricycle horn. I think that a loud horn is needed because car stereos are very loud nowdays.
