Have your rotors specd.

Some auto stores now lend or rent special tools. Get the gauge that measures runout (I think that's what it's called) of the rotor (a.k.a. high and low point on the surface of the disc). Check the manual for allowed distortion.

And you should be able to tell whether your rotors are ok or not.
