Came back to this forum for help with my old 940 Wagon- now bequeathed to my girlfriend of over 20 years!

Had a problem with my 2000 XC70 as in one day it started up and ran as if on two cylinders.
No DTC codes lit up and none shown on my Actron scanner.

Long story short- my trusted repair shop scanned for problems with a VIDA clone and found 5 codes relative to the Electronic Throttle Module.

Lots of research and decisions led me to "XeMODex", a company in Canada that offers a 'plug and play' re-conditioned module that's programmed with the necessary software, based on the VIN.

The installation video was a big help to install this unit and am so happy with it that I cut out the company logo on the box and taped it under my rear window and freehanded painted gold paint over the lettering.

Am sure this issue has been seen before , but , have to admit some difficulty navigating this forum. . .

on the 940 forum, added some << and >> to a pasted in quote only to find the actual wording missing from the text. . .?

Some forums require an 'introduction' phase for entry, humbly request this post serve for that purpose?
