4 ohm versus 8 ohm speakers S70 2000

I'm considering a speaker upgrade in my S70. (Still trying to figure out how to remove rear package shelf grill without breaking something...posted on this previously).

Anyway, looking underneath I see that the speakers are 8 ohm...needless to say this is non-standard. Every aftermarket speaker I've seen is 4 ohm

Can these safely be replaced with 4 ohm speakers?
