John-

I havn't seen anything on a C70 AWD- perhaps he meant a '99 V70R AWD. When installing snow tires on my '99, I discovered that 15" wheels won't clear the brakes. I had a set of 15" snows from another car and purchased the steel rims, hoping to use the tires on the 'new' car. I ended up having to buy new snows to fit the alloy wheels and delay the purchase of 16" steels until next winter. I haven't researched the hard differences between the rotors/calipers, other than the required 16" wheels. Before I stepped up for this upgrade, (high dollar) I would give a new set of OE rotors a try. The retail price for them should be less than $200/pr.
