I recent posted this problem that won't allow me to pass a SMOG test in CA. Someone posted that they thought CA might give a pass to these pesky 1996 to 1997 Volvos with this problem. But I can't find anything online with the CA Smog people about any exemptions. Does anyone have any more info? The dealer said it was due to a leaking head gasket but it wasn't triggering any codes. That's my other question: why do they think it's a head gasket? I don't have any other symptoms.
