Dual zone hvac controls 850 1997

Okay I finally got a "newer" Volvo, have had, and still have several 7 series cars, this is my first 8, ia is a 1997 855 turbo, I noticed this morning that the dual zone temp. controls only work on the passengers side the drivers side is always hot. Any help? New controls ??
