Re: Doggone Lamda Light (long) V70-XC70 1998 AWD

Bob, I sympathize with you, but in my case (after I wrote a long letter to the service manager of my dealership) Volvo paid for at least 80 hours that I know of (looking at the paperwork) and I personally found the Volvo rep in his slick clothes alongside the tech foreman under my car when I dropped in on them by surprise. So, in some cases Volvo WILL pay for more than 12 minutes of diagnostics. It's too bad that one needs to resort to being pushy to get one's own car fixed under warranty.

BTW, the jury is still out on weather they fixed the problem or not. I'll keep the board posted. Usually takes a few weeks for the light to come back on.

Cheers.
