Twice now, after I've changed the oil in my V70, the lamda light has gone on. Hmmmmm? (Confession: I didn't change oil at Volvo service ... it was only oil change and tire rotation.) This time when the lamda light went on, I brought the car to Volvo service, they took down the codes and reset the light. Then they drove it around to try to get that thing to go one again (as some sort of confirmation I guess) but they couldn't. Codes said some sort of leakage, they checked it and no leak, so they didn't fix anything. They ended up charging me one hour of diagnostic.
I'm a little bit upset cuz I did what I was suppose to ie. bring the car to service when the light went on but they ended up charging me an hour of labour for finding out that it was nothing. Question: Do you think Volvo VIP extended warranty should cover this?
