Help With OBD-II info V70-XC70 1998

Cross-posting with VolvoSpeed.com

Hello folks,

I've had pretty bad fuel economy for a while and I started looking to my scanner to come up with some answers.

I've got some data I pulled from my scanner, but I need some help understanding what exactly it means and what I can do about it.

Mode 01 is the 'data' mode which pulls the live sensor data.

Everything seemed fine including PID 06 Short Term Fuel Trim and PID 07 Long Term Fuel Trim which were both pretty steady at around 0% at idle which is where I think they're supposed to be right? BTW PID 03 Fuel System Status showed it was in "Closed Loop".

The PID 14 O2 B1S1 Short Term Fuel Trim was at 0% as well, but I saw a problem with the PID 15 O2 B1S2 Short Term Fuel Trim - it was ranging from 33% to 65% with an average of 44%.

Is this what's causing my poor fuel economy?
What is causing this fuel trim number to be so high?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
