Re: Sticky throttle problem - dealer can't fix - please help 850 93

Thanks - I know the recall doesn't affect me, I just thought the dealer might have introduce water into the throttle linkage that was freesin.

However, I bet you're right about the bad ECT sensor. The engine temp gauge is not registering correctly now - the needle stays still very low on the dial, no matter how long the car is driven. This is newer than the sticky throttle problem, but maybe the ECT has gradually deteriorated?

Should the dealer have thought of this problem? I had the car in twice and don't love paying for unnnecessary labor. Maybe I should ask for the money I spent last time to be credited towards fixing the problem?
