I honestly do not know when the powertrain was replaced. I do know that it was as the motor has makings from an auto-salvage place, the turbo has a reccord of being replaced at the local dealership @ 160K miles. The trans I assume was replaced at the same time as the motor since it reveals the same markings. I just bought the car at 164K miles a couple of months ago. I have been inside the motor prior to purchase and the valves and top side of the motor are spotless as is the intake and such. I would say that the motor has some miles on it, but runs strong as can be. I am still digging to find more info on this myself. The local dealer will not devulge much info to me, and anything that I do get is vauge as can be. They have told me that the car has been serviced there since it was sold new. They have the last service done in March 2000 at 163585 miles. I bought the car in September 2000 with 164300 miles.
