The drivers window gets the most abuse. You can get a decent bolt in replacement regulator from FCP Groton for abt $100 +-.

You might look at trying to adjust the arms so that you take out slop at the worn pinion gear to the sector gear. I was not successful at this since I ordered a new regulator and set the old one in my junk dept. But after the fact I thought that there might be some adjustment to allow for the badly worn pinion gear.

Have at it, maybe you'll get lucky and save the "C-Note" ?
